Betram T. Chinn, M.D. FACS, FASCRS

Dr. Chinn is Board certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery. He was born in Sacramento, CA and graduated from Stanford University. After attending

Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, he completed his residency in general surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital where he also served as Chief Surgical Resident. Upon completion of his Fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson in 1993, he joined Associated Colon and Rectal Surgeons. Dr. Chinn is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at the UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and has presented at numerous medical societies and educational meetings. Dr. Chinn is active on professional committees at the local, state and national level. He currently serves as President of the New Jersey Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons.
